Laural Randal

Laural Randal has always loved to tell stories. While on author visits to schools, she uses those opportunities to test run her new stories. After a story has been told several times, it becomes ready for Laural to put it in writing. Writing the story is only half of the partnership required for a picture book, and Laural enjoys collaborating with her illustrator to bring everything to life.

Besides her full-time job as Children's Services Coordinator of the Red Deer Public Library in Alberta, Canada, Laural is busy entertaining many groups of children with tales of her growing-up years and converting those tales into stories that may one day be printed. Echo Hill Publishing, Laural's own company, provides top quality books that not only entertain, but also help educate children - especially about farm life. [One title, The Great Chuckwagon Race, is centered around her two brothers and their 4-H cows.]

Laural has volunteered to be a speaker at the Writers, Artists & Illustrators convention either in person, as she hopes, or at least live - via video link.
